Our Wild & Blue one-day retreat will appeal to all your senses!
A warm welcome to the Finca “Mendrava Petit”!
In between orange trees, chickens and an artist’s studio you will immerse yourself in the world of the wild edible plants, guided by Uta. Together we touch, smell and taste the herbs and we get to know a lot of interesting facts about foraging, herbal cooking and medicine.
We transform what we collect into a wild and flavourful pesto, that we enjoy with our vegetarian lunch. Strengthened by our wild lunch, Miriam introduces us to the world of one of the oldest photographic techniques, cyanotype. Here we can follow the path of botanist Anna Atkins and start creating our personal Mediterranean Herbarium. The cyanotype technique allows us to design our creations freely and observe the light paint.
