Citrus Limon (2024)

This series marks my first exploration into cyanotype work, created in 2024. Like all my work, it is rooted in the flora that surrounds me in my daily life.

Living on Mallorca, I am constantly surrounded by an extraordinary natural abundance. There is a quiet humility in witnessing how fertile the land is here, and how the changing seasons continuously shape and renew what grows from it.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by lots of citrus trees. When they bloom, the air becomes almost overwhelming with their fragrance—soft, luminous, and unforgettable. Later, the fruits appears like small bursts of color against the landscape, joyful points that seem to bring an immediate smile to the face. And in every form—juice, zest, or fruit itself—their taste is pure pleasure.

This body of work is a homage to that experience: to the quiet beauty and generosity of citrus, and more broadly, to the fertility and abundance of Mother Earth.
