This series celebrates the quiet presence of Mediterranean plants – their shapes, their fleeting beauty, and their unique language expressed through light.

    These artworks are created using the cyanotype technique, a historic photographic printing method powered by sunlight. Plants are positioned directly on hand-coated, light-sensitive paper and exposed under the open sky. The result: deep blue impressions – like shadows, like traces – a faithful reflection of sunlight, time, and nature.

    Plant selection follows no strict pattern; it is guided by the rhythm of the seasons and careful observation of what appears naturally.     En Testigo Azul INICI, la rica vida vegetal de las Islas Baleares ocupa el primer plano: hierbas silvestres, flores, gramíneas y ramas, cuidadosamente recolectadas en su entorno natural y reproducidas a tamaño real sobre papel.
    Esta serie celebra la silenciosa presencia de las plantas mediterráneas: sus formas, su belleza efímera y su lenguaje único expresado a través de la luz.

    Estas obras se crean mediante la técnica de la cianotipia, un proceso fotográfico histórico impulsado por la luz solar. Las plantas se colocan directamente sobre papel sensibilizado y recubierto a mano, y se exponen bajo el cielo abierto.
    El resultado: impresiones de un azul profundo – como sombras, como huellas – un reflejo fiel de la luz del sol, del tiempo y de la naturaleza.

    Cuando las líneas delicadas de las joyas de Lídia Bosch se encuentran con el azul profundo de la cianotipia, surge una armonía visual única. Para esta edición limitada, Miriam Otte ha creado nueve cianotipias en formato A5, cada una firmada y numerada a mano, acompañada de un certificado de autenticidad, inspiradas en las colecciones Tamarell y Vayu de la diseñadora mallorquina.

    Miriam trabaja en el corazón de la Serra de Tramuntana, rodeada de la vegetación y la quietud de la montaña. Igualmente, Lídia mantiene un fuerte vínculo con el mar, al haber nacido y crecido en la isla.
